IFEAT Argentina Study Tour 2025: A Key Stop at Citromax

As part of the Argentina Study Tour 2025, organized by IFEAT (The International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades), we were proud to welcome a delegation of international industry leaders and experts to our industrial facilities in Tucumán.

Citromax was the first industrial visit on the tour through Northwest Argentina. After a scenic journey across the Calchaquí Valleys and a technical briefing by ACNOA on the region’s lemon industry, delegates arrived at our site to experience firsthand our vertically integrated production model—from nursery to industrial processing—and witness each step in the transformation of lemons into essential oils, juices, pulp, and dried peel.

Visitors were particularly impressed by the scale, efficiency, and automation of our operations, as well as our strong commitment to sustainability and food safety. A highlight of the tour was our advanced water treatment system, which allows us to recycle and purify industrial wastewater with no negative impact on the environment.

Citromax was also proud to host the welcome dinner in Tucumán, where delegates stayed for the following three days of the program.
