Lemon Pulp Cells
Product: Lemon Pulp Cells, pasteurized.
Description: lemon pulp cells, containing “free run” juice, which has been pasteurized to reduce microbiological activity.
Process: Pulp is industrially obtained by means of a process described as follows:
- Separation of small particles through hydrocyclones and screening.
- Pasteurization to inactivate enzymes and eliminate possible microbiological contamination.
- Subsequent freezing: this method is also used as pulp conservation.
Processing methods comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
The entire process has been assessed and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the quality standards for FSSC 22.000 awarded by Bureau Veritas Certification and also ISO 9001:2008.
Authenticity: The product is made from 100% natural, fresh and wholesome fruit of the specified variety and is not modified in any way. The product complies with the authenticity criteria of the FDA/USA legislation and EU Directives; and it is free from Pollutants as it is stated by the corresponding Technical Specification for the fruit.
Additives: The product does not contain any food additives.
Hygiene: The product is elaborated in accordance with the “General Principles of Food Hygiene” recommended by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (HACCP certified).
Residues: Pesticides/Agro chemical residues standards comply with SENASA(Argentine), MERCOSUR, CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, FAO/WHO, EPA (USA) and EU rules, Positive List (Japan) and other country regulations, always complying with whichever regulation is most stringent.
Packaging: Suitable clean, new, open top metal drums lined with double polyethylene bags and/or plastic pails. All packing material in contact with the product is food grade quality.
Marking: The side of each drum is clearly marked with the product designation, producer, country of origin, gross and net weights, lot and drum numbers and date of production.
Certification: Kosher Pareve and Halal.
Storage Life: 2 years when stored frozen.
